Composition and release form

Ketotifen - tablets: 1 table. contains ketotifen fumarate 1 mg; in a blister 15 pcs.; in a box 2 blisters.

Ketotifen has an antihistamine effect.

Indications

Bronchial asthma (prevention of attacks), allergic bronchitis, other allergic conditions.

Contraindications

Pregnancy, lactation.

Side effects

Drowsiness, decreased reaction, sedation, increased appetite, dry mouth.

Dosage and administration

Ketotifen is taken orally, during the meal (morning and evening), adults and children over 3 years: 1 mg 2 times a day. With a tendency to develop a sedative effect, slowly increase the dose during the first week: the initial dose is 0.5 mg (1/2 tab.) 2 times a day, followed by its increase to the full therapeutic one. If necessary, increase the daily dose to 4 mg (2 mg 2 times a day).

Storage conditions and shelf life

Store in a cool and dark place, protected from light and moisture, at a temperature not higher than 25 ° C. Shelf life - 5 years.
