Active ingredient
Doxy-Hem - capsules for oral administration: 1 capsule contains dobesilate Calcium 50 mg; 30 pieces per pack.
Mechanism of action
Doxy-Hem - a drug that improves microcirculation. Angioprotector, affects the vascular endothelium. Doxy-Hem normalizes the increased permeability of the vascular wall, increases the resistance of capillaries, improves microcirculation, inhibits platelet aggregation, reduces blood viscosity, reduces the activity of plasma kinins.
Indications and usage
- vascular lesions with increased fragility and permeability of capillaries (including diabetic retinopathy and nephropathy);
- microangiopathies associated with various cardiovascular and metabolic diseases;
- venous insufficiency of varying severity and its consequences (including precursory condition with tissue swelling, pain, paresthesia, congestive dermatosis; superficial phlebitis; varicose veins; trophic ulcers).
Doxy-Khem is taken orally, during meals - 500 mg 3 times a day for 2-3 weeks, then the dose is reduced to 500 mg / day. In retinopathy and microangiopathy, 500 mg is prescribed 3 times a day for 4-6 month, then the daily dose is reduced to 500 mg 1 time per day.
Rarely: allergic dermatosis, febrile reactions, headache, dizziness, gastrointestinal disorders.
Contraindications
- bleeding caused by taking anticoagulants;
- I trimester of pregnancy;
- Hypersensitivity to the components of Doxy-Hem.
Pregnancy and Breastfeeding
The drug is contraindicated for use in the first trimester of pregnancy. Data on the safety and efficacy of the drug Doxy-hem during lactation (breastfeeding) is not provided.
Special notes
In severe renal failure requiring dialysis, the dose of Doxy Hem should be reduced.
The drug can be prescribed for the purpose of prevention.
Storage conditions
The drug should be stored out of the reach of children at a temperature not higher than 25 ° C. Shelf life - 5 years.
