Indications

- nematodoses (ascariasis, enterobiosis, ankilostomidoz, nekatorosis, trichocephalosis);

- mixed helminthic invasions;

- strongyloidiasis;

- neurocysticercosis caused by the larval form of Taenia solium;

- Echinococcosis of the liver, lungs, peritoneum, caused by the larval form of Echinococcus granulosus;

- giardiasis;

- toxocarosis;

- as an aid in the surgical treatment of echinococcosis cysts.

Dosing regimen

The average therapeutic dose for treatment of nematodosis for adults and children over 2 years old makes 400 mg or 20 ml of suspension inside once.

The drug is taken during the meal. It is recommended that simultaneous treatment of all family members.

At neurocysticercosis and echinococcosis for patients weighing 60 kg or more the drug is prescribed 400 mg 2 times / day; weighing less than 60 kg The dose is established at the rate of 15 mg / kg / day in 2 doses. Side effect

Gastrointestinal: abnormal liver function with changes in functional liver tests (mild or moderate increase in transaminase activity), abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting.

Hemic and lymphatic: leukopenia, granulocytopenia, agranulocytosis, thrombocytopenia, pancytopenia.

Contraindications
