Active ingredient and dosage form

Powder for the preparation of oral solution with taste of orange, lemon, currant:
1 sachet (5 g) contains Paracetamol 750 mg, Ascorbic acid 200 mg, caffeine 30 mg, pheniramine maleate 20 mg, phenylephrine hydrochloride 10 mg,
Excipients:anhydrous citric acid, sodium saccharin, sodium citrate, sucrose, dye, orange, lemon and currant flavor;
5 or 10 pieces per pack.

Mechanism of action

Rinzasip is a combination drug used for colds for symptomatic therapy.

Paracetamol - analgesic antipyretic, reduces pain, observed in colds - sore throat, headache, muscle and joint pain, reduces high body temperature.
Phenylephrine - sympathomimetic, has a vasoconstrictor effect on peripheral vessels, reduces swelling and hyperemia of the mucous membrane of the upper respiratory tract and sinuses.
Pheniramine - histamine H1 receptor blocker, has anti-allergic effect: eliminates itching (including eye, nose), swelling and hyperemia of the mucous membranes of the nasal cavity, nasopharynx and sinuses, reduces the phenomenon of exudation.
Caffeine It has a stimulating effect on the central nervous system, which leads to a decrease in fatigue and drowsiness and an increase in mental and physical performance.
Ascorbic Acid (Vitamin C) fills the increased need for vitamin C for colds and flu and increases the body's resistance.

Indications and usage

Symptomatic treatment of colds, flu, ARVI (feverish syndrome, pain syndrome, rhinorrhea).

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to paracetamol and other components of Rinzasip;
simultaneous administration of tricyclic antidepressants, MAO inhibitors, beta-blockers;
pregnancy; lactation (breastfeeding);
children and adolescents up to 15 years;
simultaneous intake of other drugs, which include the active ingredients of the drug.

with caution:expressed coronary atherosclerosis, hypertension, hyperthyroidism, pheochromocytoma, diabetes, bronchial asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, deficiency of glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase, blood diseases, congenital hyperbilirubinemia (Gilbert syndrome, Dubina- Johnson and Rotor), liver and / or renal failure, angle-closure glaucoma, prostatic hyperplasia.

Dosage and administration

Adults and children over 15 years old are prescribed 1 sachet of Rinzasip 3-4 times a day with intervals between doses of at least 4-6 hours. The maximum daily dose is 4 sachets. The course of treatment should not exceed 5 days.

Rinzasip take 1-2 hours after meals with plenty of fluids.

Contents of 1 sachet are dissolved in 1 glass of hot water (stirred until complete dissolution). You can add sugar or honey.

Adverse Effects

From the side of the central nervous system: dizziness, sleep disturbance, irritability, mydriasis, increased intraocular pressure, accommodation paresis.
Cardiovascular:increased blood pressure, tachycardia.
Gastrointestinal: nausea, epigastric pain, dry mouth, hepatotoxic action.
Hemic and lymphatic:anemia, thrombocytopenia, agranulocytosis, hemolytic anemia, aplastic anemia, methemoglobinemia, pancytopenia.
Urogenital: urinary retention, nephrotoxic effect (papillary necrosis).
Allergic reactions: skin rash, pruritus, urticaria, angioedema.
Other: broncho-obstructive syndrome.

Storage conditions
