Mechanism of action
Influnet is a combination drug that has antipyretic, analgesic, angioprotective, anti-congestive (anti-edematous) action.
Paracetamol has antipyretic, analgesic effect.
Ascorbic Acid (Vitamin C) participates in the regulation of carbohydrate metabolism, redox processes, the synthesis of steroid hormones, tissue regeneration, activates immune reactions, reduces capillary permeability, enhances the detoxification function of the liver, regulates blood clotting processes. Fills the deficit of vitamin C with "cold" diseases.
succinic acid enhances biochemical and physiological regenerative processes. It has hepatoprotective, immunomodulatory and antioxidant effects. It activates energy processes in the mitochondria, normalizes the permeability of cell membranes, is an intermediate of the Krebs cycle. In combination with drugs, it enhances their positive effect and reduces the manifestations of toxic effects.
Rutoside reduces capillary permeability, relieves puffiness and inflammation, strengthens the vascular wall, inhibits aggregation and increases the degree of red blood cell deformation.
Phenylephrine stimulates postsynaptic alpha-adrenoreceptors, reduces swelling and hyperemia of the nasal mucosa, restores free breathing, reduces pressure in the paranasal sinuses and middle ear.
Indications and usage
Symptomatic treatment of colds and flu, accompanied by fever, headache, chills, nasal congestion, sore throat and sinuses.
Contraindications
If you have one of the following diseases or conditions, you should consult with your doctor before taking the drug.
- Increased individual sensitivity to one or more components that make up the drug;
- Severe damage to the liver and kidneys (acute hepatitis, acute pyelonephritis, acute glomerulonephritis, or exacerbation of chronic diseases of these organs);
- Peptic ulcer and duodenal ulcer;
- Glaucoma;
- Propensity for thrombosis;
- Diabetes;
- Arterial hypertension, bradycardia, ventricular tachycardia, heart failure, conduction disturbances, ventricular fibrillation, marked atherosclerosis, marked aortic stenosis, acute myocardial infarction, pheochromocytoma, hyperthyroidism, prostatic hyperplasia;
- Simultaneous administration of tricyclic antidepressants, beta-blockers, MAO inhibitors (and within 14 days after their withdrawal), other medicines containing Paracetamol.
- Lactose intolerance, lactase deficiency, glucose-galactose malabsorption syndrome (due to the presence of lactose in the composition).
- Pregnancy, breastfeeding period.
- Children's age up to 18 years.
Carefully: Benign hyperbilirubinemia, congenital deficiency of glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase.
Dosage and administration
The drug Inflyunet taken orally, after eating. To do this, it is necessary to dissolve the contents of one sachet in 1 cup of boiled hot water and take it hot. Stir the solution before use. Take one sachet after 4-6 hours, but not more than 4 times a day for 3 days. The maximum daily dose - 4 bags.
If within 3 days after the start of taking the drug does not come to improve health, you should stop taking the drug and consult a doctor.
Adverse Effects
When used in recommended doses and duration of the drug is well tolerated, side effects develop extremely rarely.
Since the cardiovascular and circulatory systems: agranulocytosis (absence or pronounced reduction of granulocytes in peripheral blood), thrombocytopenia (decrease in platelet count), thrombocytosis (increase in platelet count), hyperprothrombinemia (increase in prothrombin in the blood plasma), erythropenia (decrease in the number of erythrocyte cytocytes, neutrocytic cytocytosis cytocytosis cytocyto cytocyto cytocyto cytocytosis countless cytocytosis cytocystic cytocytosis cytocyto cytocyto cytocyto cytocytosis countless cell cytocytosis cytocytosis cytocyto cytocyto cytocytosis countless cell cytocyte cytocytosis increases. anemia (decreased hemoglobin); high blood pressure, bradycardia, arrhythmia, angina.
From the nervous system and sensory organs: headache, agitation, irritability, anxiety, weakness, dizziness, respiratory depression, tremor (trembling).
On the part of the digestive tract: nausea, vomiting, diarrhea (diarrhea).
Metabolism: metabolic disorders, inhibition of glycogen synthesis, excessive formation of corticosteroids, sodium and water retention, hypokalemia (reduction of potassium in the blood plasma).
From the genitourinary system: increase or decrease in diuresis, damage to the glomerular apparatus of the kidneys, the formation of oxalic urinary stones.
Allergic reactions: skin rash, hyperemia (redness) of the skin.
Special notes
The duration of the drug without consulting a doctor should not exceed 3 days.
Distorts the results of laboratory tests assessing the concentration of glucose and uric acid in plasma.
Persons prone to ethanol use should consult a doctor before starting treatment with the drug, since paracetamol may have a damaging effect on the liver.
Drug Interactions
If necessary, the joint reception with other drugs should consult with your doctor.
Stimulants of microsomal oxidation in the liver (phenytoin, ethanol, barbiturates, rifampicin, phenylbutazone, tricyclic antidepressants) increase the production of hydroxylated active metabolites of paracetamol, which leads to the possibility of the development of severe intoxications with minor overdoses.
Paracetamol enhances the effects of MAO inhibitors, sedative drugs, ethanol.
Antidepressants, anti-parkinsonian, antipsychotic drugs, phenothiazine derivatives increase the risk of urinary retention, dry mouth, constipation.
Glucocorticosteroid drugs increase the risk of developing glaucoma. Phenylephrine reduces the hypotensive effect of guanethidine. Guanethidine enhances the alpha-adrenostimulating effect, and tricyclic antidepressants increase the sympathomimetic effects of phenylephrine.
Overdosage
Symptoms (overdose is mainly caused by paracetamol): pallor of the skin, anorexia (lack of appetite), nausea, vomiting and abdominal pain, increased activity of liver transaminases, increased prothrombin time, hepatonecrosis, arrhythmia, ventricular tachycardia, increased blood pressure.
Treatment: at the prehospital stage - gastric lavage, reception of Activated carbon.
Symptomatic therapy: Paracetamol antidote - acetylcysteine.
Storage conditions
In a dry, dark place at a temperature not higher than 25 ° C. Keep out of the reach of children.
