Mechanism of action
Efferalgan has an analgesic, antipyretic and weak anti-inflammatory effect.
Indications and usage
Pains of various origins, fever with colds and other infectious and inflammatory diseases.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to Paracetamol, severe dysfunction of the liver and kidneys, genetic lack of glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase, blood diseases. A recent inflammation or bleeding in the rectum (for suppositories).
Dosage and Administration
The drug should be taken orally, having previously dissolved in a glass of water, adults and children over 15 years old weighing 50 kg or more - 1-2 tablets. If necessary, repeat the dose after 4 hours (no more than 8 pills / day).
Adverse Effects
Allergic reactions (skin rash, itching, urticaria, angioedema), nausea, vomiting, irritation of the mucous membrane of the rectum, tenesmus, thrombocytopenia (extremely rare),
