Mechanism of action

Stomatidine is an antiseptic preparation for local use in ENT practice and dentistry.

Hexetidine has an antimicrobial and weak analgesic effect on the oral mucosa.

Indications and usage

Infectious and inflammatory diseases of the oral cavity and pharynx: tonsillitis (including angina Vincent), pharyngitis, gingivitis, bleeding gums, periodontitis, stomatitis, glossitis, aphthous ulcers.
In order to prevent infection of the alveoli after the removal of teeth.
Fungal infections of the mouth and pharynx (especially candidal stomatitis before and after surgery).
Trauma to the mouth and pharynx.
As a deodorizing agent to eliminate bad breath.
For the prevention of superinfection in case of tumors of the oral cavity and pharynx in the stage of disintegration.

Contraindications

Children age up to 4 years.
Hypersensitivity to the drug.

Dosage and administration

For diseases of the oral cavity and pharynx, you should rinse your mouth with 10-25 ml of undiluted solution of stomatoidin for 0.5 minutes. Rinsing is carried out 2 times / day, preferably in the morning and evening after meals.If necessary, more frequent use of the drug.

The product is intended for topical use only (do not swallow the solution!). For rinsing, you should always use undiluted solution, in the treatment of diseases of the oral cavity it can also be applied with a tampon.
