Composition and release form
Drapolen - topical cream: 1 g of cream contains benzalkonium chloride 100 mcg, cetrimide 2 mg; in tubes of 50, 55 and 100 g
pharmachologic effect
Antiseptic combined composition for external use. The active ingredients of Drapolene - benzalkonium chloride and cetrimide - are quaternary ammonium compounds. Drapolene has antimicrobial activity against gram-positive bacteria, and to a lesser extent against gram-negative bacteria. Not active against acid-fast bacteria and bacterial spores.
Indications
- prevention and treatment of diaper dermatitis;
- as a first aid for small burns, cuts, scratches and sunburn.
Dosage and administration
Outwardly, on thoroughly washed and dried skin. For children - Drapolene is applied to the skin with a thin layer at every change of diapers or diapers, and skin folds are also required. Adults - for the prevention and treatment of contact dermatitis resulting from irritation of the skin with urine, it is recommended to use Drapolen regularly. Small burns, sunburn and exposure to climatic factors: applied to the skin as needed.
Side effect
The development of allergic reactions is possible: in case of hypersensitivity to cetrimid, the appearance of localized contact dermatitis may occur,in severe cases, the appearance of a generalized rash; rarely - manifestations of hypersensitivity to lanolin.
Contraindications
- Hypersensitivity to the components of Drapolena.
Use during pregnancy and lactation
When used in accordance with the instructions, there is no system absorption of Drapolen components, therefore there are no special precautions when using the cream during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

Storage conditions and shelf life
