Active ingredient and dosage form
Hexaspray - aerosol for local use: 1 fl. (30 g) contains biclotymol 750 mg.
Mechanism of action
Antiseptic for local use in ENT practice. Hexaspray is active against staphylococci, streptococci and corynebacteria, it has a local anesthetic and anti-inflammatory effect.
Indications and usage
Local treatment of infectious and inflammatory diseases of the oral cavity, pharynx and larynx, caused by microorganisms sensitive to biclotymol, including:
- acute and chronic pharyngitis;
- pharyngolaryngitis;
- tonsillitis;
- condition after tonsillectomy;
- glossitis.
Contraindications
- children's age up to 6 years;
- hypersensitivity to the components of Hexaspray.
Adverse reactions
Possible: allergic reactions.
Dosage and administration
Hexaspray is prescribed by inhalation of 2 injections 3 times / day. regardless of the meal. During inhalation, the vial should be held vertically. Shake the bottle before use.
Special notes
If the therapeutic effect is absent or weakly expressed for 5 days, the therapy used should be reviewed.
Storage conditions
The drug should be stored out of the reach of children at a temperature of 15 ° to 25 ° C. Shelf life - 5 years.
