Mechanism of action

Panavir is an antiviral agent, a plant polysaccharide belonging to the class of hexose glycosides. Increases the body’s non-specific resistance to various infections and contributes to the induction of Interferon.
Panavir is a protector and protects cells from the effects of viruses.
Panavir has the ability to inhibit the replication of viruses in infected cell cultures and leads to a significant decrease in the titers of the infectious activity of viruses.
Panavir increases the viability of infected cells.
At therapeutic doses, the drug is well tolerated. Tests have shown the absence of a mutagenic, teratogenic, carcinogenic, allergenic, embryotoxic action.

Genital herpes in women - as part of complex therapy.

Contraindications

Dosage and administration

Intravaginally. Enter in the evening into the vagina, as deeply as possible, in the supine position with slightly bent legs, daily for 5 days, 1 vag. supp. A second course of treatment is possible after consulting a doctor.
