Mechanism of action

Atacand has a hypotensive effect. Selectively blocks angiotensin II receptors (type AT1).

Arterial hypertension.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity; pregnancy, breastfeeding; childhood.

Dosage and administration

Inside, regardless of the meal, the recommended initial and maintenance dose of Atacand is 8 mg 1 time a day, if necessary, you can increase the dose to 16 mg 1 time a day.

Special notes

Symptomatic hypotension, incl. in the treatment of high doses of diuretics, it is necessary to adjust before the start of therapy.
