Release form, composition and packaging:
film-pills - 5 mg, 10 mg and 20 mg, 30 pills per pack.
The active ingredient is Rosuvastatin Calcium.
Indications for use:
• Primary hypercholesterolemia (type IIa by Fredrickson) or mixed hypercholesterolemia (type IIb)
• Familial homozygous hypercholesterolemia
• Hypertriglyceridemia (type IV by Fredrickson)
• To slow the progression of atherosclerosis
• Primary prevention of major cardiovascular complications (stroke, heart attack, arterial revascularization
Dosage and administration:
Inside, 1 time at any time of the day, regardless of the time of eating. When choosing the initial dose should be guided by the individual cholesterol content and take into account the possible risk of cardiovascular complications.
Side effects:
Side effects are usually mild and pass on their own. As with the use of other inhibitors of HMG-CoA reductase, the frequency of side effects is dose-dependent.
Contraindications:
For the drug in a daily dose of 5 mg, 10 mg and 20 mg: hypersensitivity to rosuvastatin or any of the components of the drug; age up to 18 years; liver disease in the active phase,including a persistent increase in transaminase activity and any increase in transaminase activity (more than 3 times compared to VGN); severe renal dysfunction (CC less than 30 ml / min); myopathy and predisposition to the development of myotoxic complications; simultaneous administration of cyclosporine; in women: pregnancy, breastfeeding, lack of adequate methods of contraception.
Storage conditions:
