NATECAL D3 PILLS

Mechanism of action

Natecal D3 is a combined drug that regulates the exchange of Calcium and phosphorus in the body. It reduces resorption and increases bone density, replenishing the lack of calcium and colecalciferol (vitamin D3) in the body. Colecalciferol (vitamin D3) increases calcium absorption in the gastrointestinal tract and its binding to bone tissue. The use of the drug prevents the increase in the synthesis of parathyroid hormone, which is a stimulator of increased bone resorption.

Indications and usage

Prevention and complex therapy of osteoporosis (menopausal, senile, steroid, idiopathic) and its complications (bone fractures); replenishment of calcium and vitamin D3 deficiencies in the elderly.

Contraindications

Hypercalcemia (including those with hyperfunction of the parathyroid glands); hypercalciuria; urolithiasis disease; sarcoidosis; metastasis of tumors in the bone; severe renal impairment; osteoporosis due to prolonged immobilization; overdose of vitamin D3; hypersensitivity to the drug.
