Composition

One lozenge contains:
active ingredients: 2,4-dichlorobenzyl alcohol 1.2 mg, amylmetacresol 0.6 mg; excipients: tartaric acid 26 mg, actocyanin dye (E163) 3.46 mg, plum flavor 9.1 mg, cream flavor 4.37 mg, warming flavor 0.52 mg, ginger flavor 2.08 mg, medium chain triglycerides 0.79 mg; sugar syrup [sucrose, water] 1384 mg and dextrose liquid [dextrose, oligo- and polysaccharides] (liquid glucose) 1102 mg (to obtain a pill weighing 2.6 g).

Round pills from red to violet color with an engraving of the letter S from 2 sides of the tablet.
Allowed white bloom, uneven staining, the presence of air bubbles
in the caramel mass and a slight unevenness of the edges.

Pharmacology

The drug has an antiseptic effect, is active against a wide range of gram-positive and gram-negative microorganisms in vitro, and has an antimycotic effect.

Indications and usage

Symptomatic treatment of pain in the oral cavity, throat, and larynx in infectious and inflammatory diseases: tonsillitis, pharyngitis, laryngitis (including those of a professional nature - in teachers, announcers, workers of the chemical and coal industry), hoarseness, inflammation of the oral mucosa and gums (aphtoenny stomatitis, gingivitis, thrush).

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to the drug; children's age (up to 6 years).

Pregnancy, breastfeeding, bronchial asthma.

Pregnancy and Breastfeeding

During pregnancy and during breastfeeding, the drug is used only if the intended benefit to the mother outweighs the potential risk to the fetus and child. At the time of treatment should stop breastfeeding.

Dosage and administration

Locally. Recommended for adults and children over 6 years old. Dissolve one pill every 2-3 hours. Adults and children over 12 years old should not take more than 12 pills within 24 hours. Children from 6 to 12 years old should not take more than 8 pills within 24 hours. Do not exceed the specified dose.
The course of treatment is 3 days. If symptoms persist for more than 3 days, you should consult a doctor.
 
Side effects
Allergic reactions: rash, burning sensation and tingling in the throat, possible hypersensitivity reactions to the components of the drug.
If any of the side effects indicated in the instructions are aggravated, or any other side effects that are not indicated in the instructions are noted, you should immediately inform your doctor.

Overdosage

Symptoms: Possible overdose can lead to discomfort from the gastrointestinal tract - nausea. Treatment: symptomatic under the supervision of a physician.

Drug interactions

No clinically significant interactions with other drugs have been reported. Perhaps the simultaneous use of the drug with other local antimicrobial agents.

Special notes

Do not use the drug in the presence of increased individual sensitivity to any component that is part of the drug. Patients with diabetes should take into account that each pill contains about 2.6 g of sugar, which corresponds to 0.22 XE (bread units).

Influence on ability to steer vehicles, mechanisms
The drug does not affect the ability to drive vehicles and mechanisms, as well as classes of other potentially hazardous activities that require increased concentration of attention and speed of psychomotor reactions.

Lozenges.
On 8 or 12 pills in the blister from PVC / PVDH / aluminum foil. 1,2 or 3 blisters are put in a cardboard box, or in a metal box, or in a package made of packaging laminated foil together with instructions for use.

On 10 pills for a resorption in a polypropylene tuba with the polypropylene cover providing control of the first opening, with a moisture absorber.Instructions for use are under the label.

Storage conditions
