Mechanism of action

Aqua Maris Plus Spray is a preparation of natural origin for local use, the effect of which is due to the properties of the components that make up its composition.
Sea water, sterilized and reduced to an isotonic state, helps to maintain the normal physiological state of the nasal mucosa.
The drug contributes to the dilution of mucus and the normalization of its production in the mucous goblet cells.
Trace elements that make up the drug, improve the function of the ciliated epithelium.
The drug helps flush and remove street and room dust, allergens and haptens from the nasal mucosa, reducing the local inflammatory process.

Indications and usage

acute and chronic inflammatory diseases of the nasal cavity, paranasal sinuses and nasopharynx;
-adenoiditis;
-the postoperative period after surgery on the nasal cavity;
-allergic and vasomotor rhinitis (especially in individuals with hypersensitivity to drugs or with a predisposition to it, includingduring pregnancy and lactation);
-prevention and treatment (as part of complex therapy) of nasal cavity infections in the autumn-winter period (including during pregnancy and lactation);
- dryness of the mucous membrane of the nasal cavity; preservation of the physiological characteristics of the mucous membrane of the nasal cavity in altered microclimatic conditions - in people living and working in rooms with conditioned air and / or central heating; people working in hot and dusty workshops, living in regions with harsh climatic conditions).

Contraindications

-children up to 1 year old (for nasal spray dosed);
Increased sensitivity to the components of the drug.

Dosage and administration

For children aged 1 to 7 years, 2 injections into each nasal passage 4; children aged 7 to 16 years - 2 injections in each nasal passage 4-6 times / day, adults - 2-3 injections in each nasal passage 4-8 times / day. The duration of the course of therapy is 2-4 weeks. It is recommended to repeat the course in a month.
