Active ingredient and dosage form
Pinosol nasal spray:
10 ml contains mountain pine oil 350 mg, peppermint oil 100 mg, eucalyptus oil 50 mg, alpha-tocopherol acetate 150 mg, thymol 3 mg;
Excipients: medium chain triglycerides;
10 ml in a bottle of dark glass with a dosing pump and an adapter.
Mechanism of action
Pinosol is an antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory drug for topical use in ENT practice. Relieves nasal breathing.
Indications and usage
Acute and chronic atrophic rhinitis; acute and chronic inflammatory diseases of the mucous membranes of the nose and nasopharynx, accompanied by dry mucous membranes. Condition after surgery in the nasal cavity (in the hospital and outpatient).
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to the drug; allergic rhinitis; children's age up to 2 years.
Dosage and administration
Pinosol spray 1 dose is injected into each nasal passage 3–6 times a day, depending on the severity of the inflammatory process.
The course of treatment is 10 days. Increasing the duration and conducting repeated courses of treatment is possible on the recommendation of a doctor.
Adverse reactions
In rare cases, allergic reactions, slight burning, itching, swelling of the nasal mucosa are possible.
Storage conditions
Store in a cool and dark place, protected from light and moisture, at a temperature not higher than 25 ° C.
