Pharmacology

AquaMaster:

  • restores the patency of the nasal passages, facilitates nasal breathing due to moisturizing the nasal mucosa and liquefying mucus;
  • washes away and removes allergens and pathogenic microbes from the nasal mucosa;
  • helps to reduce the local inflammatory process and remove dry crusts in the nose;
  • maintains the normal physiological state of the nasal mucosa.

Indications

For therapeutic purposes: in the treatment of acute and chronic rhinitis, including allergic.

In order to prevent:

  • infectious diseases of the nose in the autumn-winter period;
  • with sinusitis, including sinusitis;
  • increased dryness of the nasal mucosa;
  • after operations on the nasal cavity.

For hygiene purposes:

  • for the care of the nasal mucosa of adults and children;
  • for gentle cleansing of the nasal cavity from mucus and crusts.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to the drug.

Pregnanacy and breastfeeding

Data on the limitation of use during pregnancy and lactation is not.

Special notes

AquaMaster in recommended doses does not affect the ability to drive a car and work with cars.

Active ingredient

1000 ml of solution contains:

Active substanceSodium chloride 6.5 g;

Excipients: benzalkonium chloride, benzyl alcohol, sodium hydrogen phosphate dodecahydrate (sodium phosphate disubstituted 12-water), sodium dihydrogen phosphate dihydrate (sodium phosphate monosubstituted 2-water), water.

Dosage and administration

Intranasal.

Children apply one at a time, adults - two sprays in each nasal passage 3-4 times a day. The course of prevention and treatment is 2-4 weeks (at the discretion of the attending physician).

To soften and remove contaminating clusters and nasal secretions: AquaMaster is injected into each nasal passage as much as the situation requires, eliminating the resulting excess fluid using cotton or a handkerchief. The procedure can be repeated many times until the accumulation of contaminating particles is successfully softened and removed.
For spray in a bottle sealed by a spray nozzle

  1. Remove the protective cap from the spray nozzle.
  2. Perform 1-2 test sprays into the air.
  3. In the vertical position of the head, insert the nozzle into each nasal passage and spray by pressing.

For spray in a bottle with a sealed cap and fitted with a spray nozzle in individual packaging

  1. Unscrew the cap of the bottle with the drug and release the neck of the bottle from the safety ring.
  2. Empty the sprayhead from the individual packaging.
  3. Screw the spray nozzle onto the bottle with the drug, remove the protective cap.
  4. Perform 1-2 test sprays into the air.
  5. In the vertical position of the head, insert the nozzle into each nasal passage and spray by pressing.

Adverse effects

Not currently established.

Drug interactions

There is no established clinically significant interaction of the drug AquaMaster with other drugs. May be used with other drugs for intranasal administration. In this case, the nasal cavity is primarily irrigated with AquaMaster.
