1 pill contains the active substance: Bromhexine hydrochloride - 8.0 mg

Mucolytic agent
Mechanism of action
The drug has mucolytic (secretolytic) and expectorant effect. The mucolytic effect is associated with the depolymerization and dilution of mucoprotein and mucopolysaccharide fibers. Bromhexine has a weak antitussive effect.
Indications for use
Bronchopulmonary diseases accompanied by the formation of sputum of increased viscosity (bronchial asthma, cystic fibrosis, tuberculosis, pneumonia, tracheobronchitis, obstructive bronchitis, bronchiectasis, pulmonary emphysema, pneumoconiosis), chest trauma, pre- and postoperative period.
Contraindications
- Hypersensitivity to the drug; - pregnancy (I term); - lactation period; - children's age up to 3 years.
Dosage and administration
Bromhexine is applied internally, regardless of the meal. Adults appoint 1-2 pills 3-4 times a day; children from 3 to 5 years old - 2 mg, from 6 to 14 years old - 4 mg 3 times a day. The course of treatment is from 4 to 28 days. In the course of treatment, it is recommended to consume a sufficient amount of liquid, which supports the secretolytic action of Bromhexine.
