Mechanism of action

The infusion of the herb Erva woolly has a diuretic, as well as a moderate anti-inflammatory effect. At the same time, the excretion of sodium and Calcium ions and, to some extent, potassium ions was noted. When using the drug, there is also a tendency to a decrease in the serum urea content.

Indications and usage

As part of complex therapy in adults as a diuretic for moderately marked edematous syndrome, infectious and inflammatory diseases of the kidneys (pyelonephritis).

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to the drug. Osteoporosis, diseases involving increased excretion of calcium from the body, including hypoparathyroidism, rickets, renal osteodystrophy. Pregnancy, lactation, children under 18 years.

Dosage and administration

About 5 g (1 tablespoon) of herbs are placed in an enameled bowl, 200 ml (1 cup) of hot boiled water are poured, covered with a lid and infused on a boiling water bath for 15 minutes, then filtered at room temperature for 45 minutes, filtered, the remaining raw material is squeezed. The volume of the resulting infusion is brought to 200 ml with boiled water. It is possible to prepare the infusion in a thermos: 5 g of grass pour 200-250 ml of boiling water and infuse for 1 hour.
Is ingested in the form of heat 1 / 4-1 / 2 cup 2-3 times a day 15 minutes before meals. The course of treatment from 10 to 30 days. Before use, the infusion is recommended to shake.
