Mechanism of action
Futsikorta - a combined drug for external use, combines the anti-inflammatory and antipruritic action of betamethasone with the antimicrobial action of fusidic acid.
Highly active in relation to: Staphylococcus spp, especially Staphylococcus aureus and Staphylococcus epidermidis (including methicillin-resistant strains), Streptococcus spp, Neisseria spp, Cstr.
Antibacterial activity of fusidic acid is not reduced in the presence of betamethasone.
Indications and usage
Dermatitis in the presence or suspicion of a bacterial infection:
- Atopic dermatitis.
- Seborrheic dermatitis.
- Simple contact dermatitis.
- Allergic dermatitis.
- Eczema.
- Chronic deprive.
- Red discoid lupus.
Contraindications
- Tuberculosis of the skin.
- Skin manifestations of syphilis.
- Chickenpox.
- Viral and fungal infections of the skin.
- Skin vaccine reactions.
- Open wounds.
- Trophic ulcers.
- Rosacea.
- Acne vulgaris.
- Hypersensitivity to the drug.
Overdosage
Exceeding the recommended doses, prolonged use of topical corticosteroids on the extensive surface of the skin can lead to suppression of the function of the hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal system and the development of symptoms of hypercorticism.
Treatment: gradual withdrawal of the drug, symptomatic therapy is recommended; if necessary, conduct electrolyte balance correction.
The drug should be stored at a temperature not higher than 25 ° C.
