Active ingredient and dosage form

Dulcolax - coated tablets: 1 table. contains Bisacodyl 5 mg; 30 pieces per pack

Dulcolax - suppositories for rectal use; 1 supp. Contains Bisacodyl 10 mg: 6 pcs per pack.

Mechanism of action

Dulcolax has a laxative effect.

Common to both dosage forms:

constipation due to hypotension of the colon (in old age, in bedridden patients, after surgery, childbirth);

Contraindications

Dosage and administration

Dulcolax pills are taken orally:

- adults and children over 12 years old - 1-2 tables. appointment;

Dulcolax suppositories: rectally, the suppository is inserted into the rectum with a pointed end forward, for adults and children over 10 years old - 1 supp. 1-2 times a day, children 6-10 years old - 1/2 supp. 1-2 times a day for no more than 7 days (in the absence of instructions from the doctor).

In children under 6 years of age, Dulcolax may be used only as prescribed by a doctor.

Storage conditions
