Active ingredient and dosage form
artrosilene gel for external use 5%:
1 g of gel contains Ketoprofen lysine salt 50 mg,
in aluminum tubes of 30 and 50 g.
Mechanism of action
artrosilene has anti-inflammatory, analgesic, antipyretic effects.
Indications and usage
Diseases of the musculoskeletal system (including rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, osteoarthritis of the peripheral joints and spine, rheumatic lesions of soft tissues);
muscle pains of rheumatic and non-rheumatic origin;
traumatic soft tissue injuries.
Contraindications
hypersensitivity, incl. to other NSAIDs;
Aspirin asthma;
pregnancy (III trimester);
lactation period;
stomach ulcer and duodenal ulcer in the acute phase, peptic ulcer;
ulcerative colitis in the acute phase, Crohn's disease;
diverticulitis;
hemophilia and other coagulation disorders;
chronic renal failure;
children's age up to 18 years.
For external use in addition:
weeping dermatosis, eczema, violation of the integrity of the skin;
children's age up to 6 years.
Adverse reactions
Nervous system: dizziness, hyperkinesia, tremor, vertigo, mood swings, anxiety, hallucinations, irritability, general malaise.
Sense organs: conjunctivitis, blurred vision.
Skin: urticaria, angioedema, erythematous exanthema, pruritus, maculo-papular exanthema, increased sweating, erythema multiforme exudative (including Stevens-Johnson syndrome).
Urinary system: painful urination, cystitis, edema, hematuria, menstrual disorders.
Organs of hematopoiesis: leukocytopenia, leukocytosis, lymphangitis, decrease in PV, thrombocytopenia, thrombocytopenic purpura, increase in the size of the spleen, vasculitis.
Respiratory system: bronchospasm, dyspnea, sensation of spasm of the larynx, laryngospasm, laryngeal edema, rhinitis.
Cardiovascular system: hypertension, hypotension, tachycardia, chest pain, syncopal states, peripheral edema, pallor.
Allergic reactions: anaphylactoid reactions, swelling of the oral mucosa, pharyngeal edema, periorbital edema.
Dosage and administration
For external use artrosilene single dose of the gel is 3-5 g (volume of large cherries), aerosol - 1-2 g (volume of walnut). Depending on the size of the damaged area, artrosilene should be applied 2-3 times a day or as prescribed by a doctor.
