Composition and release form

Diclovit - suppositories for rectal use:

1 suppository contains Diclofenac sodium 0.05 g; 10 pieces per pack;

Diclovit - gel for external use: 1 tube contains diclofenac sodium 1 g; in aluminum tubes of 20 and 30 g.

pharmachologic effect

Diclovit has anti-inflammatory, analgesic, antipyretic, antiaggregatory effect.

Indications

inflammatory and degenerative lesions of the joints (rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondyloarthritis, Reiter’s disease, psoriatic arthritis, gout), rheumatic soft tissue damage, lumbago, neuralgia.

Contraindications

hypersensitivity, incl. Aspirin or other NSAIDs, gastric ulcer or duodenal ulcer in the acute phase, hematopoietic disturbances of unknown etiology, erosive and ulcerative lesions of the gastrointestinal tract (in the acute stage), aspirin asthma, aspirin triad, pregnancy, children under 6 years. Precautions: induced acute hepatic porphyria, impaired kidney and liver function.

Side effects

The resulting side effects depend on the individual sensitivity, the magnitude of the applied dose and the duration of treatment. Local reactions: irritation of the mucous membrane of the large intestine, mucous discharge with blood, pain during defecation. On the part of the digestive system: gastralgia,nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, gastric colic, dyspepsia, flatulence, anorexia, increased activity of hepatic transaminases, Gastrointestinal bleeding (hematemesis, melena), hepatitis with or without jaundice, fulminant hepatitis, pancreatitis, nonspecific colitis, bleeding, without bleeding, non-specific hepatitis, pancreatitis, nonspecific colitis, bleeding with or without jaundice, hepatitis, pancreatitis, nonspecific colitis, bleeding or Crohn's disease, constipation. For the nervous system: headache, dizziness, fatigue, impaired perception, paresthesia, memory loss, loss of sense of orientation, reduced visual acuity, diplopia, decreased service ha, tinnitus, insomnia, irritability, convulsions, depression, anxiety, “nightmarish” dreams, tremor, psychotic reactions, taste disturbances. On the skin side: skin rashes, bullous rashes, eczema, polymorphic erythema, erythroderma (exfoliative dermatitis ), alopecia, photosensitization, purpura. From the urinary system: acute renal failure, hematuria, proteinuria, interstitial nephritis, nephrotic syndrome, papillary necrosis. From the side of hematopoietic organs: thrombocytopenia, l hercopenia, agranulocytosis, hemolytic anemia, aplastic anemia.

Dosage and administration

Diclovit rectal suppositories, preferably after spontaneous bowel movements or cleansing enemas. After the introduction of the drug should be in bed for 20-30 minutes. Adults and adolescents from 15 years old - 1 supp. 2-3 times a day. Perhaps the use of the drug Diclovit® with oral forms of diclofenac sodium. In this case, the total daily dose of sodium diclofenac should not exceed 150 mg. Diclovit gel externally. 2-4 g of gel (strip - 1-2 cm) is applied 2-3 times a day with a thin layer on the skin above the inflammatory focus and rubbed slightly until completely absorbed. Duration of the course of treatment is not more than 14 days, extension of the course of treatment is possible after consultation a doctor. Wash your hands after applying the gel.

special instructionsDiclovit gel should be avoided in the eyes and mucous membranes.
