Indications and usage
Symptoms of fever associated with infections of the upper respiratory tract (viral or bacterial nature) and to alleviate pain of different origin in the postoperative period, with injuries of the musculoskeletal system, with injuries of soft tissues.
Contraindications
- Hypersensitivity to Nimesulide and Nimiki components, Acetylsalicylic acid or other NSAIDs,
- "Aspirin" asthma,
- gastric ulcer and duodenal ulcer in the acute phase, bleeding from the gastrointestinal tract,
- severe disorders of the liver and kidneys;
- pregnancy and breastfeeding,
- children's age up to 12 years.
Dosage and administration
Adults: Usually administered orally at a dose of 100 mg (2 pills of 50 mg) 2 times after meals. Children: 1.5 mg / kg body weight 2-3 times a day. The maximum dose of Nimiki for children should not exceed 5 mg / kg / day, divided into 2 or 3 doses. pills should be dissolved in 5 ml (1 tsp) of water before use.
Adverse reactions
Heartburn, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, gastralgia, ulceration of the gastrointestinal mucosa, headache, dizziness; fluid retention, allergic reactions (skin rash, anaphylactic shock); thrombocytopenia, leukopenia, anemia, agranulocytosis; increased activity of liver transaminases; prolonged bleeding time; hematuria.
Special notes
With prolonged use requires systematic monitoring of renal function.
