Mechanism of action

Zacofalc NMX is a biologically active food supplement. Not a cure.

Butyric acid: normally produced in the colon as a result of normal intestinal microflora digestion of non-digestible carbohydrates that come with food. The main function of butyric acid is to supply energy to the cells of the mucous membrane of the colon and maintain them in a healthy functional state.

Inulin: is a soluble dietary fiber, which creates a nutrient medium for intestinal microflora, thereby stimulating the growth of beneficial bacteria (prebiotic effect). Also, as a result of inulin metabolism, endogenous butyric acid is formed by intestinal bacteria.
The release of active substances in the colon.

In order to fully realize their basic biological functions, butyric acid, when taken orally, must enter the colon, avoiding premature absorption in the overlying sections of the gastrointestinal tract. This is made possible through the use of a special technology based on a polymeric multimatrix structure, which allows pills to overcome the stomach and small intestine unchanged and reach the large intestine. Throughout the colon, a gradual release of the active substances occurs.
