SYNOCROM / Synocrom

Composition and release form
Sinokrom 1% sterile solution for intraarticular injection in syringes, 2 ml each, 1 pc. packaged.
1 ml of the solution contains Synocrom: sodium hyaluronate 10 mg (mol. Mass ~ 1.6 million Dt), excipients.

pharmachologic effect
Synocrom - prosthetic synovial fluid; sodium hyaluronate solution obtained by biofermentation. It is a sterile, pyrogen-free, isotonic, viscoelastic solution in a syringe for intra-articular injection.
Synocrom contains sodium hyaluronate, which has lubricating and damping properties when administered intra-articularly. In degenerative diseases of the joints (osteoarthrosis), Synocrom reduces pain and improves joint mobility, reduces the need for NSAIDs, delays the prosthesis.
After a course of treatment consisting of 5 intra-articular injections of Synocrom, the therapeutic effect may last for more than 6 months.

Indications
Pain and limited mobility due to degenerative or traumatic changes in the synovial joints.
Synocrom and Synocrom forte are indicated for the treatment of all joints containing synovial fluid, and especially large (knee, hip) joints.
Mini-cynokrom is indicated for the treatment of small joints containing a small amount of synovial fluid, includingjoints of hands and feet, elbow, temporomandibular, facet joints.

Contraindications
Individual intolerance (including history of hypersensitivity) components of Synocrom;
infectious diseases of the joints (bacterial arthritis, etc.);
pregnancy, children's age up to 18 years (application was not investigated).

Side effects
Local symptoms (pain, feeling of heat, redness and swelling) may appear in patients using Synocrom. In order to avoid such manifestations, it is recommended to apply an ice pack to the joint for 5–10 minutes.
In the case of pronounced manifestations, accompanied by severe pain, the solution of Synocrom should be removed from the affected joint.

Dosage and administration
Intra-articular injections of Synocrom are made by specialist doctors under aseptic conditions. The injection site is treated with a disinfectant.
Synocrom is inserted into the joints from 3 to 5 times (depending on the severity of the disease). The interval between injections is 1 week. Perhaps the simultaneous treatment of multiple joints.
A course of treatment from 5 injections of Synocrom or Synocrom mini can be effective for more than 6 months (depending on the severity of the disease). The course of treatment with Synocrom forte can be as little as 3 injections. Repeated courses of treatment are allowed.

Storage conditions
In the dark place at a temperature of no higher than 25 ° C.
