Composition and release form

Nayatox - ointment:

100 g of ointment contains dry cobra venom, mouse units of action (MED) 12, methyl salicylate 4 g, camphor 3 g, eucalyptus oil 2 g; in aluminum tube 10 and 20 g.

pharmachologic effect

Irritating. Nayatoks has an analgesic (distracting) effect. Irritation of sensitive receptors of the skin and the subsequent absorption of highly active substances (histamine, enzymes, organic acids) contribute to the expansion of blood vessels, improving the trophism of underlying tissues, which determines the analgesic effect of the drug.

Indications

Arthritis of various etiologies, neuralgia, myalgia, sciatica, sciatica, and other diseases of the musculoskeletal system, accompanied by pain.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to the components of Nayox, skin diseases and mechanical damage to the skin in places of application of the ointment, active pulmonary tuberculosis, feverish conditions, general exhaustion, severe cerebral circulatory failure, tendency to angiospasms, marked impaired liver and kidney function, pregnancy, breastfeeding period.

Side effects

In rare cases - allergic reactions from the skin (redness, itching, rash), disappearing after stopping the use of Nayatox.

Dosage and administration

Nayatox is applied topically, apply 5-10 g (1-2 tsp) of ointment to the skin of the painful areas 1 time per day and rub into the skin. With strong pain - 2 times a day until the pain syndrome disappears. The course of treatment is not more than 10 days (without consulting a doctor).
