Composition

1 capsule contains: Troxerutin 300 mg.
Excipients: macrogol 6000, Magnesium stearate.
Capsule shell: casing: titanium dioxide, gelatin; cap: quinoline yellow dye, iron dye red oxide, titanium dioxide, gelatin.

Packaging

In the blister 10 capsules. In a cardboard bundle 3 blisters.

Mechanism of action

Troxerutin-Vramed - venotonic, angioprotective agent, bioflavonoid. It reduces the permeability and fragility of capillaries, strengthens the vascular wall, improves microcirculation, has anti-edema effect. Participates in redox processes, blocks the hyaluronic acid of cell membranes. Increases the density of the vascular wall, reduces the exudation of the liquid part of the plasma and diapedesis of blood cells. Reduces inflammation in the vascular wall, limiting adhesion to its surface platelets. The use of troxerutin is possible both in the initial and in the late stages of the treatment of chronic venous insufficiency, it can be used as one of the components of the complex treatment.

Indications and usage

- Chronic venous insufficiency.
- Trophic disorders in chronic venous insufficiency (dermatitis, trophic ulcers).
- Phlebeurysm.
- Superficial thrombophlebitis, periphlebitis.
- Postthrombotic syndrome.
- Post-traumatic edema, hematoma.
- Hemorrhoids.
- Diabetic angiopathy, retinopathy.

Contraindications

- Hypersensitivity to the drug.
- Peptic ulcer of the stomach and duodenum.
- Chronic gastritis (in the acute phase).
- Pregnancy (I trimester).
- Lactation period.
- Children's age up to 18 years (taking into account the dosing regimen).
With caution should use the drug (long-term use) for renal failure.

Pregnancy and Breastfeeding

Caution should be used during pregnancy, the possibility of using the drug during pregnancy is determined by the doctor, it is not recommended to use the drug during lactation.

Dosage and administration

Inside Capsules should be swallowed whole while eating. It is applied as prescribed by a doctor. Usually 1 capsule is administered orally 3 times a day; as maintenance therapy -1 capsule 2 times a day. The course of treatment is on average 3-4 weeks, the need for longer treatment is determined individually.

Adverse reactions

Headache, irritation of the gastrointestinal mucosa, allergic reactions (including skin rashes and itching).

Special notes

In the treatment of superficial thrombophlebitis or deep vein thrombosis, the use of the drug Troxerutin Zentiva does not exclude the need to prescribe anti-inflammatory and antithrombotic therapy.
Acceptance of the drug Troxerutin Zeniva does not affect the motor and mental reactions, does not interfere with the management of vehicles and work with mechanisms.
Experience with the use of the drug in children under the age of 15 years is missing.

With simultaneous use enhances the effect of Ascorbic acid on the structure and permeability of the vascular wall.

Overdosage

Symptoms: In case of overdose, the following symptoms may appear: agitation, nausea, headache and hot flashes.
Treatment: in case of an overdose, patients need to flush the stomach, take activated charcoal, consult a doctor. If necessary, carry out symptomatic treatment.
