Active ingredient

Coldact Flu Plus - capsules of the prolonged action: 1 caps. contains phenylephrine hydrochloride 25 mg, chlorphenamine (chlorpheniramine) maleate 8 mg, Paracetamol 200 mg; in a package 10 pcs; Coldact Flu Plus - suspension for oral administration:

5 ml contains phenylephrine hydrochloride 5 mg, chlorphenamine (chlorpheniramine) maleate 2 mg, paracetamol 125 mg; in a bottle of 60 ml.

Mechanism of action

Coldact Plus has an antihistamine, alpha adrenomimetic, antipyretic effect.

Indications and usage

Symptomatic treatment of colds, flu, ARVI (feverish syndrome, pain syndrome, rhinorrhea).

Contraindications

- hypersensitivity to Coldact Flu Plus components;

- pronounced atherosclerosis of the coronary arteries;

- arterial hypertension;

- diabetes;

- thyrotoxicosis;

- angle-closure glaucoma;

- Severe diseases of the liver, kidneys, heart, bladder;

- gastric ulcer and duodenal ulcer;

- diseases of the pancreas;

- difficulty urinating with prostate adenoma;

- diseases of the blood system;

- deficiency of glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase;

- children's age up to 12 years.

With caution: congenital hyperbilirubinemia (Gilbert, Dubin-Johnson and Rotor syndromes), bronchial asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.

Pregnancy and Breastfeeding

Coldact Plus Plus is not recommended for use during pregnancy and lactation.

Adverse reactions

Increased blood pressure, tachycardia, drowsiness, disturbed sleep, dizziness, irritability, dry mucous membranes, mydriasis, accommodation paresis, increased intraocular pressure, worsening appetite, nausea, epigastric pain, anemia.

Very rarely: urinary retention, allergic reactions (skin rash, itching, urticaria, angioedema).

Rarely: anemia, thrombocytopenia, leukemia, agranulocytosis.

With long-term administration of Coldact Plus Plus in high doses, hepatotoxic and nephrotic effects are possible.

Dosage and administration

Coldact Plus is ingested. Adults and children over 12 years old, 1 capsule or 1 teaspoonful of suspension every 12 hours for 3-5 days. Duration of reception as an antipyretic - no more than 3 days; as an anesthetic - no more than 5 days.

Storage conditions

In the dark place at a temperature of no higher than 25 ° C. Shelf life - 2 years.
