Active ingredient and dosage form

Triovit capsules:
1 caps contains betatab 20% 50 mg, which corresponds to a beta-carotene content (Vit. A) 10 mg, α-tocopheryl acetate 50% 80 mg, which corresponds to an Alpha-Tocopheryl acetate (Vit. E) 40 mg, Ascorbic acid, coated, type EU (Vit. C) 100 mg, yeast complex with Selenium 2000 25 mg, which corresponds to a selenium content of 50 μg;
capsule shell composition: titanium dioxide (E171), quinoline yellow dye (E104), azorubine dye (E122), red dye 4R (E124), methyl parahydroxybenzoate (E218), propyl parahydroxybenzoate (E216), gelatin;
in the package 30 pcs.

Mechanism of action

Triovit has an antioxidant, immunostimulating effect.

Indications and usage

Triovit capsules are recommended for use in adults and children from the age of 15 (as recommended by the doctor in children from the age of 10):
- with a deficiency of antioxidant Vitamins and selenium;
- with malnutrition and unbalanced diet;
- when working in hazardous working conditions;
- when living in regions with unfavorable environmental conditions, in particular, in large cities;
- with nicotine addiction;
- when exposed to active solar radiation (summer tan);
- with intense physical and mental stress.

Contraindications

- hypervitaminosis A and E;
- children's age up to 10 years;
- hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients contained in Triovit.

Adverse Effects

In rare cases, allergic reactions to individual components of the drug.
With long-term use of the drug beta-carotene contained in capsules, can cause yellow staining of the skin and discoloration of urine, these phenomena are safe, do not require discontinuation of the drug and disappear after discontinuation. The drug Triovit should be taken after meals, otherwise you may experience a feeling of heaviness in the stomach or flatulence. Azo dyes E122 and E124, which are part of the capsule shell, can cause allergic reactions, including bronchospasm.
More often, allergic reactions are observed in individuals with hypersensitivity to Acetylsalicylic acid.
There are cases of urticaria caused by parahydroxybenzoates. They usually cause a delayed type of reaction, such as contact dermatitis. In rare cases, they cause immediate type reactions with urticaria and bronchospasm.

Dosage and administration

Triovit capsules are not recommended for children under 15 years of age.
Children from 10 years old can take 1 capsule / day. under medical supervision. It is recommended to take 1-2 capsules / day.
Capsules should be taken orally, after meals with a small amount of water.
The course of treatment is 2 months, repeated courses on the recommendation of a doctor.

Special notes

The drug does not contain sugar, diabetics can take Triovit.
