Composition

1 pill contains the active substance: Trimetazidine dihydrochloride - 35 mg

Pharmacotherapeutic group

Antihypoxic drug

Mechanism of action

It has an antihypoxic effect. Directly affecting the cardiomyocytes and neurons of the brain, the drug optimizes their metabolism and function. The cytoprotective effect is due to increased energy potential, activation of oxidative decarboxylation and rationalization of oxygen consumption (increased glycolysis and blockade of fatty acid oxidation). Trimetazidine maintains myocardial contractility, prevents the decrease in the intracellular content of adenosine triphosphate (ATP) and phosphocreatine. Under conditions of acidosis, it normalizes the functioning of the ion channels of the membranes, prevents the accumulation of Calcium ions and the producer of sodium ozone, LLC in cardiomyocytes, normalizes the intracellular content of potassium ions. Reduces intracellular acidosis and elevated phosphate levels due to myocardial ischemia and reperfusion. Interferes with the damaging effects of free radicals, preserves the integrity of cell membranes, prevents activation of neutrophils in the ischemic area, increases the duration of electrical potential, reduces the release of creatine phosphokinase (CPK) from cells and the severity of ischemic myocardial damage.Trimetazidine reduces the frequency of strokes, reduces the need for taking nitrates, after 2 weeks of intake increases exercise tolerance, reduced sharp fluctuations in blood pressure (BP). Reduces dizziness and tinnitus of ischemic etiology. In case of vascular pathology, the eye restores the functional activity of the retina of the eye.

Indications for use

Coronary heart disease: prevention of angina attacks (in combination therapy). Cochleovestibular disorders of ischemic nature, such as dizziness, tinnitus, hearing loss. Chorioretinal vascular disorders.

Contraindications
