Pharmacology

belongs to the group of regulators of tissue metabolism, has antihypoxic and antioxidant properties, increases appetite, reduces the toxic effect of alcohol.
Due to the stimulation of redox reactions, respiration processes and the synthesis of ATP, the drug is able to: activate the physiological functions of organs and tissues, thereby improving the adaptation and compensatory protective capabilities of the body; enhance the secretion of gastric juice, the formation of hydrochloric acid; increase appetite; strengthen the contractile function of the striated and smooth muscles; improve performance and diastolic blood pressure; accelerate the oxidation of ethanol and acetaldehyde; reduce the toxic effect of alcohol.
Act Limontara manifests itself in 10-20 minutes after ingestion.

Indications and usage

used: as a means to increase the nonspecific reactivity of the body of pregnant women, improve its adaptive and compensatory-protective capabilities in order to prevent complications of fetal hypotrophy when miscarriage occurs; for the prevention of intoxication; in a state of acute alcoholicmild to moderate intoxication to reduce the toxic effects of alcohol and post-intoxication disorders; in complex therapy for the treatment of drunken conditions in patients with chronic alcoholism; for the treatment of astheno-vegetative disorders (severe weakness, decreased performance, appetite) during the period of alcohol withdrawal syndrome; as a "test breakfast" in the study of secretory and acid-forming functions of the stomach.

Adverse reactions

The appearance of pain in the epigastric region is possible (usually these phenomena disappear on their own in 3–5 minutes). In persons prone to hypertension, after taking the drug may increase blood pressure.

Contraindications

Arterial hypertension, coronary heart disease, glaucoma, gastric ulcer and duodenal ulcer in the acute stage, severe forms of late gestosis.

Drug interactions

Weakens the effect of barbiturates, tranquilizers.

In a dry, dark place and out of reach of children.
