Active substance
Levomenthol solution in menthil isovalerate
Composition
1 caps levomenthol solution in menthyl isovalerate 100 mg
Excipients: α-tocopherol acetate (Vit.E) - 0.45 mg, refined olive oil - q.s. up to 160 mg.
The composition of the capsule shell: gelatin - 72 mg, purified water - 56.2384 mg, glycerol - 31.5216 mg, methyl parahydroxybenzoate (E218) - 0.24 mg.

Coronarodilating reflex action
Indications
Functional cardialgia, neurosis, as well as an antiemetic for sea and air sickness.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug, acute myocardial infarction, acute disorders of cerebral circulation, severe hypotension, children under 18 years of age (efficacy and safety have not been established).
Side effects
Nausea, abdominal discomfort, lacrimation, dizziness, short-term reduction in blood pressure, drowsiness are also possible. The described phenomena are, as a rule, short-term, pass on their own and do not require discontinuation of the drug.
In rare cases, allergic reactions may develop (skin rash, itching, angioedema).

Interaction
Use of the drug in combination with drugs that improve metabolic processes (vitamins, potassium and Magnesium asparaginate, etc.) is allowed.
With simultaneous use may enhance the effect of antihypertensive drugs, sedative affect psychotropic drugs, opioid analgesics, funds for general and local anesthesia, ethanol.
Simultaneous intake with nitrates helps to reduce the headache that occurs during their use.
How to take, the course of administration and dosage
Cormenthol is prescribed for adults under the tongue, 1 capsule 2-3 times a day. The capsule should be kept under the tongue until it is completely absorbed. Daily frequency and duration of admission is determined depending on the effectiveness of treatment. If the therapeutic effect is not sufficiently pronounced or when the effect is not observed in individual patients in the next 5 minutes after taking the drug, it is necessary to consult a doctor.
Overdose
Symptoms: nausea, headache, a sharp decrease in blood pressure, depression of the central nervous system, impaired cardiac activity, increased excitability.
Treatment: drug withdrawal, symptomatic therapy.
Special instructions
Not recommended simultaneous intake of alcohol.

In connection with possible side effects (dizziness, drowsiness) during the period of drug treatment, caution should be exercised when driving, working with mechanisms or engaging in potentially hazardous activities that require increased concentration and psychomotor reactions.
Release form
Sublingual soft gelatin capsules, oval, from light yellow to light brownish-yellow color; the contents of the capsules are clear, colorless or with a yellowish tinge, an oily liquid with a smell of menthol.
