DIROTON PILLS 20 MG

Mechanism of action

ACE inhibitor. Interferes with formation of angiotensin II from angiotensin I.
Diroton reduces the vasoconstrictor effect of angiotensin II, reduces the level of aldosterone in the blood plasma, reduces the round fission disease, increases the minute volume without changing the heart rate. Improves intrarenal dynamics.
The maximum antihypertensive effect is noted after 6 hours and lasts for 24 hours after taking the drug. The duration of the action of Diroton depends on the size of the dose and averages more than 24 hours. The effectiveness of the drug is maintained during the course of treatment.
With the abrupt cancellation of the drug is not marked pronounced increase in blood pressure.

Overdosage

Symptoms: arterial hypotension.
Treatment: restoration of water and electrolyte balance. If necessary, conduct symptomatic therapy. lisinopril is excreted by hemodialysis.

With simultaneous use of diroton with potassium-sparing diuretics (spironolactone, triamterene, amiloride), potassium preparations, or potassium-containing salt substitutes, the risk of hyperkalemia increases, especially in patients with impaired renal function (therefore these combinations are prescribed with caution, under the control of potassium blood plasma and kidney function).
With simultaneous use of diroton with diuretics, antihypertensive drugs, an additive antihypertensive effect is noted.
There is evidence of the absence of Dyroton's interaction with NSAIDs.
With simultaneous use, diroton can enhance the hypotensive effect of ethanol.
Pharmacokinetic interaction
With simultaneous use of diroton with lithium preparations, the elimination of lithium from the body may decrease (therefore, the level of lithium in the blood plasma should be regularly monitored).
With simultaneous use of diroton with diuretics decreases excretion of potassium from the body.

Storage conditions

The drug should be stored in a dry place at a temperature of 15 ° to 30 ° C.
