Indications and usage

Chronic heart failure, acute left ventricular failure, chronic pulmonary heart, tachysystolic form of atrial fibrillation, atrial flutter (to reduce heart rate or translate atrial flutter into fibrillation with a controlled pulse rate through the AV node), paroxysmal supraventricular tachycardia.

Contraindications

Absolute: glycosidic intoxication; hypersensitivity to lanatozidu C.

Adverse reactions

On the part of the digestive system: anorexia, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea.

Cardiovascular: arrhythmias, slowing AV-conduction.

On the part of the central nervous system and peripheral nervous system: drowsiness, confusion and delirium, sleep disturbances, headache, dizziness, reduced visual acuity.

From the hemopoietic system and blood coagulation system: thrombocytopenia, thrombocytopenic purpura, nasal bleeding, petechiae.

Other: gynecomastia; rarely a skin rash.

Dosage and administration

Celanid is taken orally, at 0.25-0.5 mg (1-2 tablets.) 3-4 times a day, starting from 3-5 days - 0.5-1 mg / day. (supportive therapy).
