Adverse Effects

Menstrual bleeding: vaginal bleeding may occur at unusual times during the first months of Exlyuton use. It is not dangerous, and almost always this phenomenon is temporary. Just as you continue to take pills during your normal menstruation, you must take them during vaginal bleeding that began at an unusual time. If these “untimely” bleedings are too heavy or continue for a long time, you should inform your doctor. Do not stop taking Exluton without consulting a doctor! In some rare cases, menstrual-like bleeding does not occur.
If you take pills regularly, then the likelihood that you become pregnant is small. Continue to receive Exluton. However, if menstruation does not begin within 2 months, you should consult with your doctor.
Other: In the first months of Exlyuton, nausea, headache or engorgement and breast hypersensitivity can sometimes occur. These symptoms usually disappear quickly without treatment. If this does not happen, consult your doctor.
During Exluton, you may detect a slight increase in body weight. Experience has shown that after some time the weight stabilizes, and in most cases, with an increase in body weight, you can cope with a suitable diet.
If you experience signs such as severe and sudden headache, chest pain, visual disturbances, or swelling of your arms or legs, you should immediately see a doctor.

Before you start taking Exluton, be sure to consult your gynecologist. He will conduct the necessary examinations and inform you about contraindications and necessary precautions. Check with your doctor if you have any additional questions regarding Exluton. If you are prescribed any medications, you must tell your doctor that you are taking Exluton.

With the simultaneous use of Exlyuton and anticonvulsants, barbiturates, rifampicin, Activated carbon and a number of laxatives, irregular spotting and a decrease in the effectiveness of Exluton are possible.

Overdosage

Linestrenol has very low toxicity. In cases of overdose, nausea and vomiting are possible.
Treatment: symptomatic.
