The composition of the Phagodent includes 56 bacteriophage strains that inhibit the growth of 19 pathogens, most commonly found in bacterial inflammations of the oral cavity. The healthy microflora of the oral cavity does not suffer from the use of Phagodent, as in the case of the use of antibiotics and antiseptics.

Indications and usage

1. In the complex of independent hygienic procedures in the oral cavity:

- in healthy people to prevent bacterial diseases of the oral cavity,

- to normalize the microflora of the oral cavity,

- with injuries, burns and other diseases of the mucous membranes of the oral cavity, gums, tongue, lips

- during teething

2. Prevention of bacterial inflammatory diseases of the oral cavity and their recurrences, including gingivitis, periodontitis, mucositis, periimplantitis, chronic aphthous recurrent stomatitis in the presence of risk factors:

- common factors: diabetes mellitus, cancer (during radiation and chemotherapy), reduced local and general immunity, fungal and viral lesions of the oral cavity, autoimmune and other systemic diseases;

- local factors: the use of removable and non-removable orthopedic structures: full or partial dentures, bridges and crowns, including implants; in the process of orthodontic treatment using removable (for example, plates) and non-removable (for example, braces) devices, surgical interventions in the oral cavity and other dental procedures, including:

§ curettage of periodontal pockets, patchwork operations, frenulo and vestibuloplasty, tooth extraction

§ after preparation of teeth, gum retraction, use of separation matrixes, removal of supra-and subgingival dental plaque

3. By a doctor's prescription in other clinical situations in which it is important to provide high antibacterial protection and the absence of side effects.

Dosage and administration

Phagodent is applied and / or rubbed into the gum.

Phagodent is applied to the periodontal pocket, inflammation in the area of ​​the dental implant (use a disposable syringe with a blunted cannula)

After application of the Phagodent, do not rinse the oral cavity. Do not eat for 40 minutes

IMPORTANT! Do not introduce Phagodent into closed foci of inflammation that do not have or have limited exudate outflow from the center (for example, root canals of the teeth, sutured wounds, etc.)

Drug interactions

Systemic antibacterial drugs:

- Phagodent can be used simultaneously with systemic antibacterial therapy

Antiseptic, antibacterial and other topical preparations:

- Acceptable is the combined use of Phagodent with Chlorhexidine bigluconate solutions 0.05% and 0.2%, hydroxymethylquinoxalinedioxide 2.0%, rinses with triclosan, Persin cleansing foam, gels with Metronidazole, ointments with chloramphenicol and Methyluracil

- It is permissible to use phagodent sequentially at intervals of at least 20 minutes after using the following products:

§ based on octenidine and phenoxyethanol;

§ based on polyacrylic acid salts;

§ hydrogen peroxide solutions;

§ based on povidone-iodine;

§ Solcoseryl in the form of a gel / paste.

Hypersensitivity to phagodent components

Storage conditions

Store in a dry, dark place at a temperature of 2 ° C to 8 ° C for 24 months. After the start of use, short-term storage of Otophage at room temperature (no more than 25 ° C) is allowed.
