Active ingredient and dosage form
Aerosol for local use:
10 g contains Dexpanthenol 463 mg;
130 g in an aluminum bottle, 1 bottle in a carton box.
Mechanism of action
Panthenol is a drug that improves tissue regeneration for external use. The active ingredient of the drug, dexpanthenol, is converted into pantothenic acid, which, as part of coenzyme A, plays an important role in acetylation and oxidation processes, is involved in carbohydrate, fat metabolism and in the synthesis of acetylcholine. It has some anti-inflammatory effect. Significantly reduces mechanical irritation of the affected skin. Dexpanthenol penetrates well into the affected tissue. The use of the drug is especially indicated for poorly healing wounds and ulcers.
Indications and usage
- all types of skin wounds (including abrasions, burns, aseptic postoperative wounds, poorly healing skin grafts, trophic ulcers, skin cracks);
- bullous and bubbly dermatitis;
- sunburns and herpes labialis solaris.
Dosage and administration
Panthenol is used once or several times a day by spraying from a distance of 10-20 cm so that the entire affected surface is covered with the preparation.
Adverse reactions
Maybe: allergic reactions.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to the drug.
Shake the bottle thoroughly before spraying.
The drug is recommended for use in children.
Storage conditions
The bottle should be protected from direct sunlight and temperatures in excess of 50 ° C.
