Phosphogliv - hepatoprotective drug of plant origin. It has antiviral, immunomodulatory, antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effects. Restores the integrity of the cell membranes of hepatocytes and the detoxifying function of the liver. Reduces the risk of developing fibrosis and cirrhosis of the liver. It is used to treat hepatitis and hepatosis of various etiologies: viral hepatitis, fatty liver, toxic liver damage (including drug, alcohol), liver cirrhosis, in the postoperative treatment of cholecystectomy. Applied also with skin diseases - psoriasis, neurodermatitis, eczema.

Mechanism of action

Phosphogliv - hepatoprotector with immunomodulatory and antiviral effects.
Phosphogliv is based on phosphatidylcholine from soybean seeds and sodium glycyrrhizic acid from Licorice root. Developed as an improved analogue of the drug Essentiale used to treat liver diseases.
The combination of phosphatidylcholine and glycyrrhizic acid makes Phosphogliv particularly effective in the treatment of liver diseases. Glycyrrhizinic acid (glycyrate) has a broad spectrum of biological activity, anti-inflammatory properties, inhibits the reproduction of the virus in the liver, etc.organs by stimulating the production of interferons, increasing phagocytosis, increasing the activity of natural killer cells (NK cells). Due to the detergent action provides emulsification of fastatidylcholine in the intestine.
Phosphogliv has a membrane stabilizing and antioxidant effect. Restores the integrity of the cell membranes of hepatocytes and the detoxifying function of the liver.

Indications and usage

Phosphogliv is used in adults and children over 12 years for the treatment of hepatitis and hepatosis of various etiologies:

• acute and chronic viral hepatitis (complex therapy);
• fatty degeneration of the liver (fatty hepatosis);
• toxic liver damage, intoxication (including drug, alcohol);
• postoperative cholecystectomy therapy;
• cirrhosis of the liver.
  Phosphogliv is also used in dermatology (for skin diseases):
• psoriasis;
• neurodermatitis;
• eczema.

Phosphogliv is prescribed orally for 1-2 capsules 3-4 times a day, daily, for 30 days. Capsules are taken with meals with water. The maximum single dose - 4 capsules, daily - 12 capsules. The duration of treatment in acute liver disease is 2-4 weeks, with chronic - 6-12 months.
Phosphogliv is prescribed slowly. Dissolve the contents of 1 bottle in 10 ml of pyrogen-free water for injection and inject 10 ml 2 times a day with an interval of 12 hours for 10 days. In the future, switch to oral administration in the form of capsules.

Overdosage

No overdose cases have been reported.
