Composition

1 g of lubricating ophthalmic contains:

- Active substances
- Retinol palmitate 250 IU.

- Auxiliary substances Vaseline white, liquid paraffin, light paraffin liquid, lanolin.

Packing

Aluminum tube 5 g funds. In the package 1 tube.

Mechanism of action

Vit-pic - a means to moisturize, lubricate and protect the cornea.

Evenly distributing and holding on the cornea for a long time, VitA-POS improves the condition of the tear film and thus reliably protects the cornea from drying out.

Vitamin A contained in the product is a natural part of the tear film and gives the product a delicate oily consistency, which ensures its complete mixing with natural tear and good tolerance of the product.

The use of VitA-POS contributes to the rapid disappearance of the subjective symptoms of burning, dryness, discomfort in the eyes.

Indications and usage

- To improve the condition of the tear film and protect the ocular surface, eliminate discomfort when feeling dry, foreign body sensation, burning in the eyes, including arising under the influence of:
- Climatic factors such as air conditioning in a car or in an airplane, wind, cold, intense solar radiation, ecologically unhealthy air or cigarette smoke.
- Intense visual load, for example, during prolonged work with a computer, camera, watching TV programs, the need to control vehicles at night; with long wearing contact lenses.

Contraindications

- Hypersensitivity to the components of the tool.

Dosage and administration

A strip of 1 cm long is placed in the conjunctival sac 1-3 times / day. The frequency of use of the tool is set individually, as needed, and as recommended by an ophthalmologist. It is recommended to use VitA-POS before bedtime.

The duration of treatment is not limited.

Adverse reactions

When applied according to indications in recommended doses, the side effect of the agent is not marked.

Special notes

VitA-POS should not be used when wearing contact lenses. It is recommended to use the product after removing the lenses.

The use of VitA-POS can lead to a slight deterioration in visual acuity, therefore it is recommended to use it before going to bed at night.

VitA-POS should not be used simultaneously with other ophthalmic preparations. In cases where joint use cannot be avoided, it is recommended to observe the interval of 30 minutes between instillation of eye drops and the use of VitA-POS.

When using the tool VitA-POS, contact of the tip of the tube with the surface of the eye and skin should be avoided.

- Impact on the ability to drive vehicles and control mechanisms Immediately after applying the tool VITA-POS, a short-term impairment of visual acuity may occur, leading to a slowdown of mental and physical reactions. Therefore, it is not recommended to use VitA-POS immediately before working with the mechanisms and driving vehicles.

Overdosage

Data on cases of overdose of means of VitA-POS is not available now.
