Active ingredient and dosage form

Aquirin is a clear solution of yellow-brown color with a pronounced herbal smell (activated distilled water;
contains: hydro-alcoholic extracts of celandine, aloe, kalanchoe; boric acid; oil of mint, tea tree; fragrant solution),
50 ml in the bottle.

Mechanism of action

AKVIRIN is a highly effective remedy for external use, including mucous lor-organs and genitals, with a pronounced anti-inflammatory, antiseptic, wound-healing, protective, drying effect. "AKVIRIN" prevents the penetration of microbes and bacteria into the skin and mucous membranes, contributes to their destruction, relieves pain and itching, accelerates wound healing.

Indications and usage

AKVIRIN is recommended as an auxiliary drug for the local treatment of acute and chronic inflammatory diseases of the ear, nose and throat: pharyngitis (pharyngomycosis); sore throats; chronic tonsillitis; acute and chronic sinusitis; external and average otitis (including otomycosis).

AKVIRIN is recommended as an adjunct for local treatment: bacterial vaginosis; vulvo-vaginitis; colpitis nonspecific and mycotic etiology; with inflammatory diseases of the external genital organs, vagina, cervix; in the presence of true or simple false erosion; with genital warts in the region of the external genital organs and vagina; with genital herpes.

As an adjuvant in infectious and inflammatory diseases of the skin caused by the herpes simplex virus.

As an adjuvant for the treatment of inflammatory diseases in the oral cavity with: stomatitis; gingivitis; paradontosis.

Dosage and administration

For rinsing the throat and washing the paranasal sinuses, use the solution "AKVIRINA" in dilution with boiled water or saline solution 1:50. “AQUIRIN” is instilled into the ear in dilution with boiled water or saline solution 1:10 (if there is a perforation of the eardrum 1:50).

Dilute the drug in warm water 1:20 - 1:30 and do douching, then - in the back vaginal fornix enter a loose gauze swab moistened with the drug at a dilution of 1:20 and leave for 2-3 hours, then remove the tampon. The course of application of 7-10 procedures.

For the prevention of purulent-septic complications in women before and after termination of pregnancy, AKVIRIN is used at a dilution of 1:10 as vaginal tampons (1 tampon 2 times a day for 4 days before and 3 days after termination of pregnancy), then in the form of vaginal baths with an exposure time of 3-5 minutes.

In case of gerpis, apply undiluted to the affected skin 2-3 times a day, slightly rubbing or make applications for 2-3 minutes.

For stomatitis, gingivitis, paradontosis, dilute the drug in warm water at a ratio of 1:20 - 1:50 (individual approach) and rinse the mouth 2-3 times a day.

AQUIRIN has antifungal properties,It has a fungicidal effect against dermatophytes, molds and some dimorphic fungi, therefore it can be recommended for fungal infections of the skin and its appendages (nails).

The drug in its natural form is applied to the affected skin 3-4 times a day, slightly rubbing. The greatest effect is achieved by application within 10-20 minutes. When the nail fungus is daily in the evening for 10-15 minutes it is necessary to do hot baths with the addition of the drug (at the rate of 1 ml per 1 liter of water), then it is necessary to lubricate with undiluted drug nails.

Contraindications

Individual intolerance to individual components of the drug.

Storage conditions

Store the bottle with the concentrated solution in a closed state in a dry, dark room at room temperature. Dilution of the solution to the desired concentration to produce immediately before use. The closed bottle is usable for 2 years.
