Pharmacological properties

Alpha-adrenostimulyator, constricts the blood vessels of the nasal mucosa, eliminating swelling and hyperemia of the mucous membrane.

Indications for use

Acute allergic rhinitis, acute respiratory disease with symptoms of rhinitis, sinusitis, pollinosis; otitis media (to reduce swelling of the mucous membrane of the nasopharynx). Preparing the patient for diagnostic manipulations in the nasal passages.

Dosage and administration

Assign intranasally to adults and children over 6 years old in each half of the nose, 1–3 drops of a 0.1% solution 1–3 times a day, or one injection from a nebulizer, for children under 6 years, 1–2 drops of a 0.05% solution 1- 2 times a day.

Not recommended frequent and long-term use in chronic diseases of the nasopharynx. In case of “catarrhal” diseases in cases when crusts form in the nose, it is preferable to prescribe it as a gel.
