XYLENE DROPS IN THE NOSE WITH A DROPPER CAP 0.1% 10ML

Indications and usage

Rhinitis: allergic, with colds, sinusitis, otitis media (as part of combination therapy to reduce swelling of the nasopharyngeal mucosa); preparation for rhinoscopy.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity, arterial hypertension, tachycardia, marked atherosclerosis, hyperthyroidism, glaucoma, atrophic rhinitis, chronic rhinitis.

Dosage and administration

Intranasal. Adults and children over 6 years old - 1-2 drops of 0.1% solution in each nasal passage 2-3 times a day.
Children under 6 years old (incl. And infants) - 1-2 drops of a 0.05% solution in each nasal passage 1-2 times a day for 3-5 days (no more).

Pregnancy and Breastfeeding

Contraindicated.

Adverse reactions

Burning sensation in the nasopharynx, irritation or dryness of the nasal mucosa, nausea, headache, palpitations, increased blood pressure.

MAO inhibitors, tricyclic antidepressants and drugs can enhance systemic effects.

Overdosage

Symptoms: in case of accidental ingestion - arrhythmia, increased blood pressure, confusion.
Treatment: symptomatic.

Eye contact should be avoided. You can not use more than 3-5 days without a break.
With very long use atrophy of the nasal mucosa is possible.
