Diseases of the respiratory tract with the formation of viscous sputum:

- acute and chronic bronchitis;

- pneumonia;

- COPD;

- bronchiectasis.

Is taken orally during the meal, with a small amount of water.

Adults and children over 12 years old - 10 ml 4 times / day.

Children aged 2 to 6 years appoint 2.5 ml 3 times / day, aged 6 to 12 years - 5 ml 3 times / day.

The maximum duration of treatment without consulting a doctor is 5 days.

Adverse reactions

Gastrointestinal: rarely - diarrhea, dry mouth, constipation; with prolonged use in high doses - gastralgia, nausea, vomiting.

Respiratory: dryness of the mucous membrane of the respiratory tract, rhinorrhea.

Other: allergic reactions; rarely - weakness, headache, dysuria, rash.

Contraindications

- pregnancy;

Treatment: artificial vomiting, gastric lavage in the first 1-2 hours after taking the drug.

The drug is approved for use as a means of OTC.
