Mechanism of actionThe combined drug has antispasmodic and antacid action. Belladonna has an M-anticholinergic and antispasmodic effect. Interferes with the stimulatory effect of acetylcholine; reduces the secretion of salivary, gastric, bronchial, lacrimal, sweat glands, pancreas. Reduces the tone of the digestive tract muscles, bile ducts and gallbladder; causes tachycardia, improves AV conductivity. Expands pupils, impedes the outflow of intraocular fluid, increases intraocular pressure, causes accommodation paralysis. Sodium bicarbonate when ingested interacts with the hydrochloric acid of gastric juice, neutralizing it. Increases the excretion of Na + and Cl-, osmotic diuresis, shifts the reaction of bronchial mucus to the alkaline side, increases bronchial secretion, makes the sputum less viscous, improves its expectoration. Indications and usageIntestinal colic, hyperacid gastritis, heartburn, dyspepsia. Inside, 30-40 minutes before meals, 1 pill 2-3 times a day. The highest single dose for adults - 5 tablets, the highest daily dose - 15 tablets. Adverse reactionsDry mouth, thirst, intestinal atony, urinary retention, tachycardia, mydriasis, accommodation paresis. Overdose. Symptoms: psychomotor agitation, convulsions, accommodation paresis, acute urinary retention. ContraindicationsHypersensitivity. Angle-closure glaucoma, prostatic hyperplasia. |
