Mechanism of action

The combined preparation for topical administration. The action of the drug is due to the properties of the components that comprise it: prednisolone capronate - non-halogenated GCS, Lidocaine hydrochloride - a local anesthetic, d-panthenol - a means of stimulating the regeneration of the epithelium, triclosan - an antimicrobial agent with a wide spectrum of action.
The drug has anti-inflammatory, anti-allergic, anti-exudative, local analgesic, antiseptic and stimulating regeneration effect.

Indications and usage

Processes involving inflammation of the anorectal region:
- an itch of an anus;
- Perianal eczema;
- psoriasis of the perianal region;
- Perianal dermatitis;
- hemorrhoids;
- fistula and anal fissures;
- anopapillite.

Ointment is applied with a thin layer on the affected surface 2-4 times / day.
At internal hemorrhoids a small amount of ointment 2-4 times / day injected into the rectum.
When the severity of symptoms decreases, ointment is used less frequently (1-2 times / day).

Adverse reactions

Dermatologic: rarely - telangiectasia, erythema, hypertrichosis, superficial atrophy of the skin (with prolonged use of the drug).
Other: With prolonged use of the drug and / or its application to the extensive surface of the skin, systemic side effects characteristic of glucocorticoids are possible.
With the introduction of an excess amount of ointment into the rectum, moderate bradycardia is possible.

Contraindications

- specific lesions of the anorectal region (including viral, bacterial and fungal infections);
- tumors and precancerous skin diseases;
- hypersensitivity to the drug.

Pregnancy and breastfeeding

With extreme caution should apply Aurobin in the first trimester of pregnancy.
