Indications
As part of complex therapy for functional disorders of the heart, arterial hypertension, ischemic heart disease, angioneurosis, atrial fibrillation, paroxysmal tachycardia, atherosclerosis, menopausal neurosis.
Dosage and administration
Cooked infusion take 1 / 2-1 / 3 cup 2-3 times / day for 30 minutes before eating.
Side effect
Maybe: allergic reactions, decrease in blood pressure, bradycardia (with prolonged use), nausea, vomiting, intestinal colic (when taken on an empty stomach), drowsiness.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to the plant.
Use during pregnancy and lactation
Not recommended for use in the first trimester of pregnancy.
Use in children
Not recommended for use in children under the age of 12 years.
Special notes
Not recommended for use in children under the age of 12 years, as well as in the first trimester of pregnancy.
Drug interaction
Hawthorn preparations enhance the action of cardiac glycosides.
Simultaneous use with class III antiarrhythmics as well as with cisapride is not recommended.
