Mechanism of action

Infusion of flowers of tansy has anthelmintic and choleretic effect.

Indications and usage

- As an anthelmintic agent - for ascariasis.
- As a choleretic agent in chronic non-calculous cholecystitis, hypomotor dyskinesia of the biliary tract (in complex therapy).

Contraindications

- Individual intolerance.
- Age up to 18 years.

Pregnancy and Breastfeeding

Not applicable during pregnancy and lactation.

Dosage and administration

About 15 g (3 tablespoons) of flowers are placed in an enamel bowl, 200 ml (1 cup) of hot boiled water are poured, covered with a lid and heated in a boiling water bath for 15 minutes, cooled at room temperature for 45 minutes, filtered, the remaining raw material is squeezed. The volume of the resulting infusion is brought to 200 ml with boiled water.

As an anthelmintic drug is ingested 1 / 2-1 / 3 cups 2-3 times a day 15 minutes before meals.

As a cholagogue, take 1-2 tablespoons 2-3 times a day 15 minutes before meals.

Storage conditions

Store in a dry, dark place; prepared solution - in a cool place for no more than 2 days.
