Mechanism of action

GINKOUM - Means of plant origin. The action of Ginkoum is due to the nature of its effect on the metabolic processes in cells, the rheological properties of blood and microcirculation, as well as the vasomotor reactions of large blood vessels. It improves cerebral circulation and the supply of oxygen and glucose to the brain. Ginkoum possesses vasodilating action, interferes with platelet aggregation. Normalizes metabolic processes, has an antihypoxic effect on tissue. Interferes with lipid peroxidation and the formation of free radicals in cell membranes. Ginkoum has a pronounced anti-edema effect at the level of the brain and in peripheral tissues. Under various pathological conditions, it prevents the enhancement of serum proteolytic activity.

Indications and usage

In geriatrics with attention and / or memory disorders, mental disorders, fear, dizziness, tinnitus, sleep disorders, general malaise resulting from cerebrovascular disorders.

Contraindications

Reduced blood clotting, erosive gastritis,gastric ulcer and duodenal ulcer in the acute phase, acute disorders of cerebral circulation, acute myocardial infarction, arterial hypotension, pregnancy, lactation, children and adolescents under 18 years of age, hypersensitivity to Ginkgo Biloba drugs.

Dosage and administration
