Active ingredient and dosage form

Memoplant - coated tablets: 1 table. contains ginkgo bilobed leaves extract dry EGb 761 35-67: 1 (extractant - 60% acetone) 40 mg, standardized by the content of flavonglycosides - 9.6 mg and terpenlactones - 2.4 mg (1.12-1.36 mg - glycosides A, B, C and 1.04-1.28 mg - bilobalide); excipients: croscarmellose sodium; defoaming emulsion SE2; colloidal silicon dioxide; hypromellose; lactose monohydrate; macrogol 1500; Magnesium stearate; corn starch; MCC; talc; titanium dioxide E171; iron hydroxide E172;

in a blister pack of 10, 15 or 20 pcs.; in a pack of cardboard 1, 2, 3 or 5 blisters.

Mechanism of action

Metoplant has an improved cerebral circulation that regulates peripheral circulation.

Organic (arising from age-related circulatory disorders) and functional disorders of the brain with such manifestations as memory impairment, decreased ability to concentrate and intellectual abilities, depressed mood, dizziness, tinnitus, headache;

peripheral circulatory disorders including obliterating diseases of lower limb arteries (intermittent claudication, numbness and cold feet, Raynaud's disease);

dysfunction of the inner ear, manifested by dizziness, instability of gait, tinnitus.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to the components of memoplant;

hypocoagulation;

erosive gastritis;

gastric ulcer and duodenal ulcer in the acute stage;

acute disorders of cerebral circulation;

acute myocardial infarction;

children's age up to 12 years (not enough data on the application).

Pregnancy and Breastfeeding

Due to the lack of a sufficient amount of clinical data, the use of Memoplant during pregnancy and breastfeeding is not recommended.

Adverse reactions

Allergic reactions (redness, skin rash, swelling, itching), gastrointestinal disorders, headache, hearing loss, dizziness, decreased blood clotting are possible.

There were isolated cases of bleeding in patients who were simultaneously taking drugs that reduce blood clotting (the causal relationship of bleeding with the use of the drug Ginkgo bilobacter EGb 761 is not confirmed).

In the event of any adverse events, taking the drug should be discontinued and consult a doctor.

Dosage and administration

Memoplant is taken orally, regardless of the time of the meal, without chewing, with a small amount of liquid. Unless another dosing regimen is prescribed, the recommendations listed below should be followed.

For symptomatic treatment of cerebral circulatory disorders: 1-2 tablets. (40-80 mg) 3 times a day. The duration of treatment is at least 8 weeks.

For violations of peripheral circulation: 1 tab. (40 mg) 3 times a day or 2 tablets. (80 mg) 2 times a day. The duration of treatment is at least 6 weeks.

With vascular and involutional pathology of the inner ear: 1 tab. (40 mg) 3 times a day or 2 tablets. (80 mg) 2 times a day. The duration of treatment is 6-8 weeks.

If a regular dose has been missed or an insufficient amount of Memoplant has been taken, the subsequent dose should be taken in accordance with the instructions.

Storage conditions
